In today’s fast - moving world, many factories chase big orders and fast turnarounds — but what about the small brands with big ideas? We recently had the opportunity to work with a boutique jewelry studio that needed just 1,000 packaging boxes — spread across five completely different designs — for their beautiful handmade necklaces and earrings.
Sounds simple? Not quite.
Each design had its own technical challenge. One required the veins of a leaf pattern to align perfectly across the top and bottom. Another had a sliding drawer that couldn’t be too tight, or too loose — it had to feel just right. Understandably, most suppliers they approached politely declined the project, citing small quantities and high complexity.
To be honest, we were hesitant too at first. We knew this wouldn’t be easy. But once we heard their story — a young, passionate team just starting out — we decided to take the leap.
We sat down with their designer in person, studied the prototypes, and together we found the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to bring their vision to life. After two rounds of sampling, we finally approved the full production run.
Yes, it took time. Yes, it took patience. But the reward? Seeing their packaging elevate their brand and support their business growth.
