Turning Kitchen Art into a Printed Masterpiece

A New York private chef turned her custom kitchen creations into a beautifully printed cookbook with Call2Print

For Jasmine Lin, cooking was more than a profession — it was performance, design, and storytelling. After years of designing custom menus for New York’s elite, she decided to collect her most creative dishes into a private kitchen cookbook.

“I wasn’t looking for a commercial mass-market cookbook,” Jasmine says. “I wanted something personal, premium, and worthy of gifting.”

She chose Call2Print after a design partner recommended them. With 180 pages of high-resolution food photography, Jasmine wanted true-to-life color reproduction and a sophisticated layout.

“Call2Print gave me complete flexibility,” she says. “They worked with my designer, offered paper dummies, and let me try different finishes. It was a very collaborative process.”

Her final product included:

  • 4-color interior printing on matte art paper
  • Thread-sewn binding with hardcover case wrap
  • Custom endpapers and spot UV title treatment

Call2Print handled everything from file review to packaging, and shipped directly to her home in Brooklyn — right on time for her private launch party.

“The print quality blew everyone away. My guests thought it was a major publisher release. And I got several new clients that night because of how professional the book looked.”

Now Jasmine uses her cookbook as a calling card for new clients — and plans to release a second volume next year.
