It usually starts with a WhatsApp message around 7pm.
"Hi, I know it's late. I have files ready. I need 200 flyers by 9am tomorrow. Is that even possible?"
We get messages like this more often than you'd think. And the answer is almost always: yes.
Here's why that's possible — and what you should know before you reach out.
We Keep the Machines Running
Most print shops in Shanghai close at 6pm. We don't. Our production team works late, and we've built our workflow specifically around urgent turnarounds. When you send us files at 9pm, we're not reading your message the next morning. We're looking at it now.
What "Tonight" Actually Requires
To print tonight and deliver by morning, we need three things from you:
Files ready in PDF format, print-ready (bleed included if possible). A clear spec — size, quantity, paper type, single or double-sided. A confirmed delivery address or pickup location.
That's it. No lengthy back-and-forth. If your files are good to go, we move immediately.
What Happens If Your Files Aren't Ready?
No problem. Tell us what you need and send us the raw files — Word doc, PowerPoint, image — and our design team can prepare them for print. This adds maybe 30–60 minutes, but it doesn't kill the job.
We've done it hundreds of times for people who didn't know what "print-ready" meant and still had their materials in hand by breakfast.
The Most Common Urgent Orders We Handle
200–500 flyers for a trade show the next morning. Business cards someone forgot to reorder before flying to Shanghai. Brochures for a pitch meeting at 10am. Event programs that changed at the last minute.
If you're in Shanghai and you need it printed tonight, don't assume it can't be done. Send us a message first. We'll tell you honestly what's possible — and if we can do it, we will.
