Same-Day Business Cards in Shanghai: What "Fast" Actually Means

A Transparent Look at Timelines, Quality, and What to Expect

"Same day" is a phrase that gets used loosely in printing. So let us be specific about what it means when we say it.

The Timeline, Honestly

File received by 10am → cards ready by 2–3pm, same day. File received by 2pm → cards ready by 6–7pm, same day. File received by 6pm → cards ready by 10–11pm, or first thing next morning.

These are real timelines based on normal production loads. During peak exhibition periods — when half of Shanghai's trade visitors suddenly need reprints at the same time — it may take a little longer. We'll always tell you an honest ETA before you commit.

What "Ready" Means

Ready means printed, cut to size, and packaged. For laminated cards (matte or gloss), add 30–60 minutes. For spot UV or specialty finishes, same-day isn't usually possible — but standard cards with good card stock look sharp and professional.

Quality

We print on 250-300gsm card stock, which is the standard for business cards in professional settings. Color accuracy is high on our digital presses. If you've had cards printed somewhere else before and want to match them closely, send us a sample image and we'll do our best to calibrate.

What Can Slow Things Down

Files that aren't print-ready (wrong color mode, low resolution, missing bleed). Designs that need changes before printing. Large quantities (5000+) ordered same day.

For most business travelers who just need 200–500 cards to get through the rest of a show, none of these are issues.

How to Order
